A fraying transition was repaired using a vinyl insert transition.  This molding also protects the edge of the tile and carpet.  They are typical in commercial appliacations where carpet meets other types of flooring.

A small family dog chewed a hole in the dining room carpet.  A small "cookie cutter" patched was performed.  You can see that the customer will now have to consider having the carpet cleaned since the patch carpet was substainally cleaner than the existing carpet.

An anxious dog wanted to get into the bedroom from the hallway.  Since extra carpet was not available to patch it, I made the best of what I had to work with.  I applied latex to the delaminated backing and left it over night to dry.  The next day the carpet was power stretched to reduce the space where the yarn was removed by the dog and the carpet was seamed together.
